Not Listening (but) i hear you is the encounter between the author and her work, the model of a volcano. After six months together in the scenic space, their separation is about to take place. Not Listening (but) i hear you is the meeting of two subjectivities, two objects, two agencies. The work is about to go on display, in the hope of being sold, however it feels that it is not fully resolved. He will try to establish a contact that will turn into a long nocturnal dialogue, in which the human and non-human body become one. Their desires and dreams will be a ground for confrontation and challenge.
The work wants to investigate the difference between care and love. She wants to explore the boundary between personal relationships and work, how very difficult separation is and how the positioning of the creation of an object that wants to be thought can fit into a feminist discourse. This show wants to be a multidisciplinary discourse of the impossible separation between body, mind and non-human to face the complex reality that we live where we live with the disaster continuously.
