Tsai I-Chieh (b. 1991, Taipei) is a contemporary artist living and working in Berlin. Her artistic practice explores the alienated identity and collective experiences of Asian women in Western society; investigate the role of women in Taiwanese socio-political conditions and related gender issues through field research. She also delves into universal emotions such as parting and human attachment. Recently, she has deepened her concerns in ecofeminism, raising questions about the relationship between humans and nature.
